The Page Options panel allows you to define the page appearance and restrict access to the current page. You can also set a number of other options including the Page Name, Page Image, Page URL, Page Encoding, and Columns.
The main page option - Page Name - appears just inside the top section of the Page Options panel. The Page Name is the text displayed at the top of the page and usually tells the reader what that specific page is about. It is also used to identify the page in Manage Pages panel. The Search Engine Optimization section is used for entering data which plays an important role in the Search Engine Optimization process.
In the Page URL field set the URL of the page, which will be displayed in the address bar of the browser. Make sure your page URL is made up of words that relate to the page content - this will help the proper indexation of your page by search engines.
Page Keywords and Page Description are used for meta data during the Search Engine Optimization process. If they are empty, the page will use the Site Keywords and Site Description values, if any, for SEO.
Page Options
1. As explained in the tool tip, use the Home icon to view your homepage. This will be the first page that loads, when your domain is accessed. Only one page can be selected with that option.
2. You can edit the page settings from the button found on the top menu, but you need to first navigate to the page which settings you want to edit. From the Pages options, you can access each page settings instantly by clicking the Gear icon.
3. The last options allows you to delete a page from your site. Select the Trashcan icon to remove the page, ensure you have saved any images or links prior to deletion.
