Set a task to repeat on a schedule so you don't have to recreate it each time. This guide shows how to turn an existing task into a recurring one.
Before you begin: The Repeat options appear only when you edit a saved task that has a Due Date — they are not on the New Task form.
Step 1 — Open the task and set a due date
Open a saved task to show the Edit Task form, then set a date in the Due Date field (blue). The recurrence options appear once a due date is set.
Step 2 — Turn on Repeat and choose the frequency
Select Repeat (blue). Choose how often the task repeats from the frequency dropdown — Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly — and set the interval in the Every field (for example, every 2 weeks).
Step 3 — Choose when it ends and save
Set when the recurrence stops under Ends (blue): Never, After a number of Occurrences, or on a specific date. Then click Save Task at the top of the form.
Tip: The Summary line below the options spells out the schedule in plain language (for example, "Repeats every day from 06/20/2026 to 06/26/2026") so you can confirm it before saving.
