Webmail brings your email, calendar, contacts, tasks, and file storage together in one place. This tour walks through each area so you know where everything lives and how to get started.
Step 1 — Get to know the layout
When you sign in, Webmail opens on your inbox, split into four areas:
- The navigation bar (blue) along the top — global search, the module switcher, and your account menu.
- The sidebar (orange) — the New message button and your mail folders.
- The message list (green) — your emails in the current folder.
- The reading pane (black) — the selected message opens here.
Tip: Use the icons at the top-right of the navigation bar to switch between Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Online Storage at any time.
Step 2 — Send and manage email in Mail
Click New message (blue) to start composing. In the Mail module you can:
- Read and reply to messages in the reading pane
- File mail into folders from the sidebar
- Star, flag, and search to stay organised
Tip: Right-click any message for quick actions like reply, move, or delete without opening it.
Step 3 — Plan your time in Calendar
Click New Event (blue) to add an appointment. The Calendar lets you:
- Switch between Day, Week, Month, and Agenda views
- Set reminders and recurring events
- Invite attendees and check their availability
Tip: You can turn any email into an event from the message's More menu.
Step 4 — Keep people in Contacts
Click New Contact (blue) to add someone. The Contacts module lets you:
- Store emails, phone numbers, addresses, and birthdays
- Group contacts and create email groups
- Import and export your address book
Tip: Add a sender to your contacts in one click using the Smart Contacts icon in any open email.
Step 5 — Track to-dos in Tasks
Click Add New Task (blue) to create a to-do. In Tasks you can:
- Set due dates and reminders
- Organise tasks with tags
- Mark tasks complete as you finish them
Tip: Filter your tasks by due date to focus on what's coming up next.
Step 6 — Store files in Online Storage
Click Upload File (blue) to add a file. Online Storage lets you:
- Keep documents in one place, separate from your mailbox
- Organise files into folders
- Share files with other people
Tip: Storing large files here instead of as email attachments helps keep your mailbox under its storage limit.
